EcoTots

Our EcoTots program is a fun introduction to animals, plants, and other nature topics.  Programs use movement, storytelling, art, animal demonstrations, and games to make nature come alive. This is a great outing for young children and their accompanying adult to explore in nature together.

EcoTots is for children ages 18 months to 3 years with accompanying adult.

Programs are Fridays from 9:30-11am. Programs held rain or shine.

Please bring a Refillable Water Bottle, closed toe shoes, and dress for the weather.

Payment is required at the time of reservation.
Fees: Members with Family Membership or above $10/program; Non Members $12/program
(Fee includes 1 adult and 1 child)

EcoKids

Our EcoKids program encourage observation, exploration, problem solving and creativity (STEM activities).  At ABNC, our goal is to give children the opportunity to observe nature in action.

This drop-off program is for children 3 to 6 years old who are fully potty trained.

Join our EcoKids program either Wednesday or Friday from 9:30-11:30am; Topics are the same on Wednesdays and Fridays of the same week.  Programs held rain or shine.

Please bring a Snack, Refillable Water Bottle, closed toe shoes and dress for the weather. 

Payment is required at the time of reservation.
Fees: Members with Family Membership or above $12/program; Non Members $14/program

EcoSchoolers

The EcoSchooler program is hands-on environmental education activities plus STEM challenges for the home school student.  Our science activities will help create curiosity and passion for the natural world.

This drop-off program is for children ages 7-10

Join our EcoSchoolers program either Wednesday or Friday from 9:30-11:30am; Topics are the same on Wednesdays and Fridays of the same week.  Programs held rain or shine.

The EcoAdventurers program is an in depth study of environmental science topics while engaging the homeschooled student in STEM activities. These programs prepare learners to understand the natural environment.

This drop-off program is for children ages 11-14

Registration:

  • Completed Online Registration required! To ensure adequate supplies and staff for the program, No Walk-Ins accepted.

  • You will receive a confirmation letter via email once we have received your registration.

  • If you have any questions about the EcoPrograms, please call 713-274-2668/2667

Cancellations: 

  • Payment is non-refundable unless the program is cancelled by Armand Bayou Nature Center (ABNC) staff.

  • If ABNC cancels for any reason, you will be given the option of applying the fees to another program or a refund.

  • Notify us before 9:00 AM (CT) the day of the program if your child is unable to attend. Contact  Heather at  (713) 274-2667 or heather@abnc.org, or Sydni at (713) 274-2668.

  • If your child is dismissed from the program, NO refund will be given.

  • Dress for the weather - There is no such thing as bad weather, only bad clothing!
